No. Monitor is strictly read-only — it observes resources, accounts, uptime and security and reports what it finds. It never edits configs, restarts services, blocks IPs or otherwise mutates your server. That's the whole design: deep visibility with zero risk to a production box.

Monitor tracks SSL expiry and full chain validity (expired / mismatch / self-signed), checks that DNS still resolves to this server, and measures website uptime & response time with p95 plus an optional keyword/content check. It also does raw TCP port checks and role-aware service checks, so a service is only "down" when every unit backing that role is actually down — no false alarms.

Yes. Monitor reads SMART data per drive — PASSED/FAILED status, temperature, reallocated sectors and power-on hours — and tracks disk & inode usage with a disk-fill ETA, so you get warned days ahead instead of at 3am when the disk is full or the drive has failed.
